Brady runs the team anyone in the HC role is a figurehead.

Mike McDaniel wants to run his own offense. Bringing in someone like Tom Brady wouldn't allow him to do that. Tom is better suited for a team like the Bucs: talented and needing him to direct their offense. This is why Leftwich still isn't a HC, and won't be until he shows he can roll without Arians and Brady calling shots. He almost got his opportunity too.

The owner wants Brady and the owner cuts the check he has final say. Now if they 2 teams agree is another consideration
