He is definitely not the future.
He is definitely not worth 7mil a season.
He has no grasp of the offense yet!
At what point does knowing you have a one time pro bowler as a back up enough.
He has yet to show me anything that give me hope he could be effective as qb #1 even in a pinch.

He’s a backup on roster.

Saints may invest more seriously at the idea of THill being more of a realistic option.

Said it last week, trade teddy and peat to Houston for clowney to get some pass rush.... throw in a 3rd/4th to get it done...

And OP, what do you suggest? We got him as insurance so if Brees goes down, we don’t have to forfeit the season. That hasn’t changed. Don’t need to make any decisions beyond this season right now.
