Don't get me wrong, the NFL does a great job of televising their product, but I would much rather watch the game at the stadium, because I can see the whole field. I know when someone is open, when someone blows a coverage, etc. I love going to the games.

The rumor is that he's out for the season.
Not that he's out for a few weeks or playing banged up. The bottom line is if he tore his rotator cuff and was out for the year, I'd like to imagine the organization isn't so incompetent to let him walk around without a brace/sling all so that they can maintain secrecy.
Give me a break. He had a shitty game, I'm sure he was sore after getting blasted, and I'd wager a lot of money that he plays against Carolina

Sorry, I gotcha now. Yeah, that 360 degree labrum tear Brees had was extremely rare & was why his chances of ever being the same again were extremely low. Still, a rotator cuff injury at this point in his career is still serious business.

This just came through my Facebook feed. Who the frick is Barry and what is his "reliable source"? Saints Talk?
I don't personally know Barry, but I did do a show with one of his writers. He works with John Hendrix. They're not big time by any means, but they work.
Fwiw, I heard it from two people outside the site.

not to mention that no organization in sports is leak proof to the point of keeping their superstar player's season/career ending injury under wraps for this long.

No betting line right now on #Saints-Panthers W3 game b/c of Drew Brees’ injury status.

Are you seriously this dumb? There are varying degrees of a rotator cuff tear man. Only a severe tear would require the arm to be immobilized yet a partial tear while it would seem minor to most, would require season ending surgery but wouldn't require his arm to be a sling right now. What part about that don't you understand? There many pitchers who prefer to try to rehab small tears over having surgery but either way, recovery is usually several months.

Per FB....
quote:
According to Barry Hirstius, the Editor and Columnist for the Big Easy Believer and one of our hosts here with the Saints Fans News & Radio Show Network (Big Easy Blitz) on Tuesday Nights, word is that Saints QB Drew Brees has suffered a "significant injury" in yesterday's game vs. Tampa Bay that is rumored to be a torn rotator cuff and may be OUT for the remainder of the 2015 season.
Barry tells us that he is still trying to get CONFIRMATION FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE and that when he finally does, he will let us know one way or another; and then we will let all of you know. Keep your fingers crossed, Saints fans !!!!!!!!

stop posting this like fricking Barry Hirstius is going to break big news.
Posted on 9/21/15 at 2:15 pm to JS87
So he puts the story out anyways without having a reliable source?
That is pathetic
