Dan Marino

1984 Miami
5,084 yards and 48 TD's
1985
4,137 yards and 30 TD's

drop off of 19% yards and 35% TD's

Peyton Manning
2004
4557 yards and 49 TD's
2005
3747 yards and 28 TD's

drop off of 18% yards and 42% TD's

Tom Brady
we all know what happened last year...Nothing

Joe Montana
1990 hit his all time career high with 3,944 yards, Injured and didn't play 1991

John Elway
1993 hit his career high 4,030 yards and 25 TD's
1992 3490 yards and 16 TD's

drop of 13% yards and 36% TD's

Kurt Warner
1999
4353 and 41 td's (would you trade him?)
2000
3429 and 21 td's (now would you trade him?)

okay let's say you didn't

Kurt Warner Again
2001
4830 and 36 TD's (trade him?)
2002
1431 and 3 TD's (how about now?)

So not only would you trade Drew Brees.

But you would also trade Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Joe Montana, John Elway, and Kurt Warner, in their prime?

What, no Favre, Unitas, or Bradshaw?

WOW! This is all-time terrible

You stupid motherfricker. I hate you, I wish you would walk into oncoming traffic. Everyone is dumber for having to read your posts. I feel like someone should be stabbing you in the back of the head right now, you should have been an abortion. You are the poster child for pro-choice.

Favre didn't have the spike in numbers from his high of 4,413 he dropped to 3,899 the next year (11.6%)

Bradshaw never had great numbers

didn't check Johnny U.

Brees' numbers the first two years here are essentially identical to what Cutler put up last year

Think of it as trading Favre for Brady and Boldin...then yes I would.

Why doesn't the logic that Drew is going to experience a drop off apply to Cutler also?

Sure...let's trade for a crybaby QB with low self esteem and a WR who's recently been arrested for the 6th time in two seasons for one of the best QB's in the league.

I'm simply never amazed at what I read anymore.

Cutler hasn't established an average.

Bree's performance last year was a spike from his average. Therefore, his production will slide.

would you be happier with E.Royal then? I decided Marshall because of the situation and Marshall being more established.

But I don't know? The amount of Sucking that Bree's is getting around here, I don't think that a Brady/Moss, Peyton/Wayne would even do.

Your right that shite wont fly here.In my opinion Brees is just as good if not better than both of them.

see for yourself then

look under yardage, after every single highlighted yardage total was a subsequent decrease the following year.

I'm not saying that Cutler is better than Bree's, only that the addition of Marshall secures Cutler's Value (206 rec and 2590 yards the past two together) and would together be a longer term benefit than Brees alone.

warner too

no way to get rid of breeze. i liken him to an operating system. he's the server that has many plug and play capabilities. as last year proved

I know there was a decrease, but 84 was MArino's 2nd year, last year was Cutler's third.

The idea that hadn't established and the others have is contrary to the #'s you provided

fine then go to the next set provided in each.

point is the decrease exists.

and didn't the QB's stats I posted all go to at least the playoffs in their Spike years?

the premise is that production will fall and he's at his highest selling price RIGHT NOW! What would you seek in compensation?

QB's don;t hit the wall like RB's so he'll still have value..just not as much.
