It helps that they ran the ball well and Dalton was 5 for 5 on that drive. Maybe the WRs aren’t used to catchable balls and had to adjust.

I think with Dalton’s limitations on the deep ball they have had to go back to the late career Brees playbook. Which it seems like is a much easier system for a QB. Lot of easy short route for the QB to hit

I think you’re seeing what a capable QB can do. This offense is designed for Drew Brees. Andy Dalton is a poor poor man’s Brees but that’s still his style.

Amazing how good playcslling looks when you have a competent QB doesn’t it
