Jelly hit the Scotch hard yesterday. He's a senile old fart with plenty cash married to a degenerative socialite with bad credit and had a grandaughter that putts from the rough and loves booger sugar

Benson has no idea what day it is. I call it like it is bro and don't p***y out like the majority of weenies here. Peyton is going to the playoffs and Brees will be washing lettuce at one of his Jimmy John stores. The Saints are and always will be a complete joke of an organization. Dwell upon a super bowl win that happened 6 years ago. The NFL is what have you done for me lately business, and the Saints haven't done squat in 3 years.

Very few executives, politicians, etc write their own press releases and statements. They have media staff who write them, and then they sign off on the copy before it is released. A statement like that would not be released without his knowledge and consent.
As far as Duncan, while I disagree with his thoughts, I have no problem with him writing the opinion column. But there is a place for opinion columns - and it's not the front page of the paper. This column should have been in the sports section, or in the opinion page. That's what it is - an opinion. The front page is for news, and this is not news.
But this is the T-P of today. The website has become a blogger paradise, full of stories typed with record speed, without taking the time to verify sources or check grammar. Opinions carry more weight than news, and it's more important to be first than it is to be right.
