Before the potential playoff possibility fever sets in please look at the facts

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade but after listening to Bobby Hebert on way home from Houston on Wednesday, we really need to temper our playoff expectations. This was going into this weekend. Bobby basically said if we don’t beat panthers we should fire everyone.

We apparently lose every possible tie breaker with both the Falcons and the Bucs. We obviously have to beat them in the next games but even after that we are screwed for losing all our NFC games etc. We have like a 12% chance of winning the division. Bizarrely we have a 22% chance at a wildcard spot but we lost some key head to heads on that too. (Like to Green Bay and Minnesota so far)

Basically we have to win out or damn near win out and have a game advantage over anyone as we just are going to lose on almost any tie breaker situation.

So I am saying we have a chance, but not much of one. That said we have lost playoff spots when we were like at 78-85% to get in with 3 or 4 games left so who knows but it ain’t likely
