You lost me with the "NFL" on it.

One thing: our defense got balled so hard. So so hard. Like Alex Smith looking like Joe Montana hard.

Not only that, but this is a Pierre Thomas quote.

Try actually listening to the song on the page maybe? The dude actually is a Saints fan and made that song as a response to all this crap in support of the team, and folks sit here trying to make something else out of it. WOW!

It's just a dumb sentiment.

Hate to be captain technical but since that has the NFL logo on it - doesn't a portion of this have to go to the NFL?
And what do Falcons fans have anything to do with any of this?

Just put my earphones in and am listening to this "music". Sigh.
"Free Coach Payton". "Haterade". Man, lots of people in denial mode 'round these parts.

"Ball so Hard NFL Wanna Fine Us!" would work for the Steelers, not the garbage defense we've been fielding for the last couple of years.

I'm starting to wonder if you know what denial is, DD.

de·ni·al /d?'na??l/ Show Spelled[dih-nahy-uhl]:
noun
1. an assertion that something said, believed, alleged, etc., is false: Despite his denials, we knew he had offered the bounty. The coaching staff issued a denial of thier opponent's charges.
2. refusal to believe a doctrine, theory, or the like.
3. disbelief in the existence or reality of a thing.
4. the refusal to satisfy a claim, request, desire, etc., or the refusal of a person making it.
5. refusal to recognize or acknowledge; a disowning or disavowal: the ability to deny wrongdoing while placing blame on anyone or anything. i.e. Jeremy Shockey as "the snitch"; Roger Goodell as "the dictator"; ESPN as having a conspiracy out to get the Saints and the State of Louisiana.
Did I get it? (and also did you like my spin on the examples?)

We're not in denial. We know (at the very least) there was a pay for performance program going on. That's against the rules (even if it is common place), and we should be punished for that.
There's a big question mark (and I'm starting to think it's bullshite) that the Saints players or coaches were trying to injure players.
If we were trying to injure players, then this penalties would be just. However, I don't think we were, and Goodell has gone over board.

This. THIS is a good argument. I can't argue with that because I've yet to see a play that looks excessive.
Don't think Payton nor the Defensive players *really* were trying to ever injure anyone. However, your D coordinator was giving more than just "rah rah, go team" speeches. They simply should have said enough with the bounty crap - we're a good team. Let's just win.
Because of that last part - I don't feel bad for Vilma. Wasn't he the one that was recorded on the NFC Champ. Game against Minn saying "Pay me my money!!!" after Farve had to be helped off the field?

He picked Favre off on the play. He didn't take him out. I'm sure he was talking about getting paid for the INT.
