The question was, "Anyone surprised at how Devery has come around?" Answer it.

so wait, every thread stays on topic?

someone made another comment, and thats what i commented on. Deal with it Saintard. Know your role.

quote:

But all that, Payton and Brees say it's so shite is ridiculous.

then why has he caught 32, 20, and 32 balls the last 3 years?

They dont say shite about it. The playcalling dictates everything. There's only so much you can do with a 1 dimensional WR.

quote:

ho knows, but if he is good enough, why do you have to be such an arse frick about it

How am I being an assfrick about it? All i said was we are in trouble if he is indeed our #2 WR. If you sensitive Saintard self cannot handle that, or think its mean or whatever, then skip it over and go to another thread and chat about your gay arse Sig picture. frick, i dont know what to tell you.

quote:

If he plays opposite Colston and plays well, why the hell are you against it?

Who said I was against it?

If he suddenly goes from a 30 catch guy to a 70 catch #2 WR, ill be really fricking happy.

Will it happen? i dont think so.

do i want it to happen? sure

Does that make me negative? no

does that make me an assfrick? no

does that hurt your little wah-wah Saintard feelings? it sure seems like it. Grow up your little turd.

Lester, you are a fricking dumbass fricking idiot. Oh, I didn't know that you were a shoe in at all the practices, OTAs, workouts, etc. Who the frick are you to say what Devery is or isn't capable of doing? He was markably better last year and ran much more than just "go routes". You and your bullshite can take a hike. His hands are excellent and he was catching pretty much everything thrown at him last year. All reports from camp have him surprising everyone, running sharp, crisp routes and welding his hands to the ball. So, frick you for being such a negative dickwad who hasn't a clue about Saints football, much less life in general. I hate you more than I have ever hated anyone and I wish you would just vaporize. Loser. Eat shite. frick off.

Oh, and who gives a rats arse who Drew's throwing to. As long as we're moving the ball, it is irrelevant. You are trying to make it relevant when it obviously is not. Breaking down catches and who YOU want to see thrown to. That is some lame arse shite right there. Now, in the red zone/end zone on a jump ball, we know who it should be, but in between the 20s, bitch please.

hhahahahaahaha

you saintards need to go back to SR

devery has come a long way...he has improved his hands and routes. he is young with a lot of potential. but, if moore is healthy, i want him at the two. he was solid last year

It's way easier than this thread has made it...

Colston 1 > (healthy)Moore 2 > Devery 3

That's how Drew wants it, that's how I like it.

eta: subject to changes in training camp of course

doubtful son. you can't get on my level. hurt my feelings? no, but I'd like to smash your face. my point and beef with you is you are always negative and take the negative approach at any thread or anything saints. you are always quick to chime in over here and shite on a good thread. if you would disappear I don't think you would be missed.

your point on Devery is taken. you seem to agree he has progressively gotten better, but not good enough now or ever to be a #2 wideout on this team. that's fine with me. i'll have to disagree for now. Let's let the upcoming camp and season dictate the answer. If moore is healthy and the shoulder doesn't set him back, it may be difficult, but I see a rotation of moore/devery this season at the #2. We'll see......

Even so, it's negative. But this you can't really defend:

quote:

I dont want Henderson getting the 2nd most touches on this team. Or 2nd most receptions.

Having a desire for someone not to do well is negative no matter how you slice it.

Devery isn't getting enough credit for a lot of tough catches he's made last year and throughout the season. He used to have some issues with the easy ones but he had a much better season. Devery is a legit threat oppo colston, moore... not so much.

thats being negative??

do you watch the games?

tell me where I am wrong. That's just the truth.

and Saintard was talking like I am always negative. Let's post some other stuff.

how about where I defend people like Deuce recently? Or Saying Aaron Brooks is the 2nd best QB in Saints history? Or saying Charles Grant gets a bad rep?? Or that Pierre Thomas deserved more carries last year. Find all that shite. I rarely say anything negative about the Saints. Mickey Loomis is the only one i trash, and that is because he fricking sucks monkey cock.

These Saintards say I am negative because I am always correcting them; then they start some hissy fit fight about it and in conclusion, they say I am negative. I am far from it.

and I dont even know who you are, so for you to come around and try and back this claim up is just laughable.

Geez you are stupid.

If gets the 2nd most touches on the team, then our team is suffering. That's all that means. I just hope it doesnt come to that.

Chad, you realize Moore had more catches and TD's last year than Henderson had in the previous 2 years combined?

and if you want to date back 3 years, Moore, last season, only had 5 LESS catches and 1 LESS TD catch than Henderson had in 3 fricking seasons?

Again, do any of you idiots watch the games?

And this isnt being negative; sometimes....well, all the time around here, you have to correct people...and when they are proven wrong they say you are being negative

You do realize that lance had 47 more receptions than Devery last season and only had 135 more yards than what Devery was able to produce. THat's embarrassing. Devery could have had nearly 2,000 yards with 79 balls and here lance can't crack 1,000. Geesh... who watches the games now les985boy.

C'mon guys they both play their respective roles well. Lance isn't a deep threat but is as sure handed as it gets (except for the Vikings game when it hit his numbers and ended up an interception ) and while Devery's hands and route running are greatly improving, his speed better suits him as a down the field threat. Both of these guys do their job well...thanks to Drew!
