what makes you think he can be a #2 NFL WR?
he's a good #3. If for whatever reason he has to step up into that #2 slot, our efficiency drops immensely

i would not say we're fricked with him as a 2, we would just move our possession reception game more to TE and RB. Our top two guys have been possession guys, something devery has never and will never be.

why? because if he makes #2 spot that means Lester, now follow along if you can, that means he's better than Lance Moore, better than 1st round pick Meachum, or Arrington or Roby. but more important than any of that Lester is that Brees believes he's the #2 NOT YOU!

or (and more likely) that means that the people above him are injured and he is the same ole Devery.
he could have a break out season, but lets face it... the odds of that happening at this point in his career are not great...

Shockey 4th
Devery Henderson 5th
I dont want Henderson getting the 2nd most touches on this team. Or 2nd most receptions.

He doesn't have to say it.
Colston is a 90-100 catch guy.
Moore caught 80 balls last year.
Reggie will catch 50.
Shockey will prob catch 50
Henderson will prob catch 30-40 unless someone gets hurt, because all he can run is a go route.
He doesn't have to make it known verbally; on the field it all speaks for itself.

Henderson and L Moore are not on the same level. Henderson would start for 75% of the teams in the league. Moore is just a system guy thats it. Every team in the NFL would take Henderson over Moore.
