Yes, still hurts pretty badly. Tough finishes for all my teams this year. And the Hornets just suck.

Man that last drive I thought worst case we're going to OT. I get pissed off just thinking about that drive.

Only had to stop them one more time for them to be force to kick a FG .

But anyway, frick Gregg Williams for leaving Harper one-on-one with VD.

I just really think we beat anyone in the dome this year. Oh well.

No way we lose in the dome tonight, and we would have the advantage in the dome in Indy vs the worst pass d in the league.

Damn it all.

Going eat some redbeans and rice with sweet cornbread. It'll make me feel a little better.

I was devastated when we lost Saturday. And I'm not saying it still doesn't hurt a little. But I'm not bitter at all. We played a hell of season (2nd best in franchise history, maybe 3rd, but definitely top 3). We made the playoffs. We lost to a great team, in an electrifying game. I would have cut my left nut off for this kind of season a few years ago. I'm just happy to be a Saints fan right now.

It was a devastating loss. I thought we had it won twice.

I'm not bitter though. For all the disrespect directed toward Alex Smith, he made the plays when they were there. You have to hand it to him.

I think we had the best team at the end of the season, but we screwed the pooch last Saturday.

Next year . . .

Hurts bad. Turnovers kept coming. Alex smith had his best 4 passes to one player and it killed us .

Yeah...I got over last season's playoff loss pretty quickly because I didn't think they were championship caliber. This one? I thought everything was lining up perfectly to get another SB. I'd like to believer we'll be right back here next season but the NFL is tough...gotta take your shots when you get them.

Saints are exact opposite. Though the players lost it on the field, coughing up the ball 5 times. They were put in position to win, otherwise. LSU had bad play, and bad coaching. They were doomed

yep. saints were in it at the end and showed up big time. LSU meanwhile was running and punting the damn ball late and had given up it appeared from those coaching decision which is mind boggling. there is no quit in payton.

I am. Almost no doubt in my mind that the Saints win it all this year if not for that fricking Vernon Davis game winning drive. No way the Giants win in the dome, and no way NE's terrible secondary could hold Brees down at all. fricking Julian Edelman would get torched

as many turnovers we had the defense put the offense in position to win it, well the offense did their job at the end, but there was time left on the clock and the defense couldn't hold, it was the stubbornness of Greg Williams that contributed, Roman Harper has to make that tackle. Besides that it is sad to see the greatest offense of NFL history to go down like that. Hopefully next year our safeties and corners aren't left on islands getting abused while we can get a pass rush from 4 guys

I wouldn't see our D getting many stops against them either. It would have been a very fun game to watch
