Oh, and I'd wait at least until training camp to start worrying...

LOL! What Strief are you watching? The only time he is serviceable is when we give him help.

I'm gettin pretty pissed/angry that the saints have signed a cornerback and pretty much nothing else

Patience. The Saints have limited funds to work with. Overspending right now for instant gratification is not the smart play. As much as it sucks to be fans and not know what's going on and see little progress, we just have to be patient and trust this staff with their great track record.

It's not like guys we have been in on have been snagged up by other teams. As has been said, the longer those guys stay on the market the greater leverage the organization has in getting them at a better rate.

Goodell is the a-hole you should really be pissed at. Losing early round draft picks is fricking brutal, especially when this club has tight cap spacing and is only a few pieces away from being championship material.

They really did a good job coaching up Bushrod. He looked terrible a couple years ago. I think they can address the needs at the position in the draft.

Nothing doing at RT. Strief will return. He's not studly but you could do worse for his affordable contract. Brown actually looked good there before injured again. Bryce Harris looks like a decent swingman but he went IR before he finished his first start at RT. Marcel Jones has notable potential but again IRed (injuries his MO also).

Brown should get a shot at LT. It's just a matter of who else to compete? They either wait out the market and get an affordable vet like McKinnie, Max Starks, or Omiyale or draft one. If one of the top 3 OTs dropped to #15 it would have to be considered. I give that less than 5% chance of happening. So look for one 3rd or 4th rd to compete with Brown. There's some to be had like Faulk, Armstead, etc.

I'd love to get Faulk. I think he will need a redshirt type year with his ACL injury and adapting to pros.

From all of the responses it sounds like we are in the minority, but I agree with you wholeheartedly. LT is the biggest position of need IMO. I don't care if we resolve it via free agency or the draft but we better address it.

Letting Bushrod sign elsewhere and not jumping on that one guy in FA tells me they think they have their LT already on the squad. No doubt they will look for more o-line help somewhere in the draft and after with the UDFA's.

Yes, this is my biggest area of concern. Not CB.
