I don't think it's that bad. We were 9-8 last year and there were about 5 games that we had zero chance of winning because our quarterbacking was EVEN WORSE last year.
We will be fine. Just don't expect a Super Bowl or a comeback victory against a team that's actually worth a shite.
And even with that, there's still a chance.
Rodgers hates his WRs
Rams look vulnerable
49ers QB mess
We just hung with the Bucs for 3 quarters with zero offense

We are now the pre-2022 Colts
I say pre-2022 bc I have no idea what the frick the Colts are doing this year after these first two weeks. Doesn't look good

quote:I think we have enough talent that it was worth going for. Winston was hurt last season after a 5-2 start and looked solid, so I'd argue that it was also worth going for it again this season.
What I mean by this is, instead of going full rebuild after our legendary QB and HC both left out of our "Golden Era"...we decided to keep it going with the old HCs staff and system, but instead we get a watered down version of it that isn't as good and keeps you mediocre instead of being either terrible or great.
So while I think we did the right thing or at least the thing I thought we should do, it seems like we're heading in that direction where it's looking like it may not work out and we're in that no man's land.

I agree OP. Only thing really missing is a consistent QB.

Saints organization is good enough to win 8-9 games but isn’t going anywhere with a broken J. Winston.
Saints have a decent defense but we no longer have an efficient offense. On paper, we have offensive weapons but I don’t trust either Winston or Dalton . So therefore, saints should win around 22-27 games over the next three seasons. (Beginning this season and two more). We don’t have an elite QB.

Jameis making me feel in no man's land. I now have no confidence we can contend with him at QB. Dude missed a ton of open guys last night.

We had 3 points.

Is byron leftwich a bad oc?
While i too would've liked allen to go with a new, young, fresh oc,
I think people are overreacting.

This is my thing. Jameis is basically on a 1 yr deal.
They already showed they wanted to upgrade at qb.
Mickey loomis isn't dumb. If they have a chance to grab a better qb, they will pull the trigger.
Too much overreaction.
