No it was Payton's call to fire Gibbs and Vitt said he didn't agree with it.
And yes Gibbs was his boy too, but this was after two mediocre years, not one.

Loomis isn't going anywhere he is too tight with the benson family. He also has a role with the Pels.
I'm torn on Ryan. I think he gets another year.

I think the Payton Brees relationship is overstated- Payton is a womanizing scumbag who has been resting on his Super Bowl laurels for too long. Brees is one of the true professionals on the team- This team would get new life if Payton and his fat defensive coordinator was fired.
