This is always the biggest and most-important preseason game (the one BEFORE the last one).
Jameis obviously wont play, but id expect just about everyone else to.

ya i was wondering if they said how long the starters would play
being its the very first short preseason they could treat this like the traditional 3rd preseasoon game format or not and just do it next week and skip the final preseason game format in nothing but the scrubs playing.
i guess that info is more secret then the nuke codes trump had hidden in melanias underwear drawer.
in the end it will be whatever it is, im just trying to decide if i want to stay home or go out, if starters play a full half i will stay home and watch the whole game

Im watching ever second of it.
I went to Houston game last week and Im going to the Chargers game in the Dome next week.
If you only watch one preseason game, it should be this one.

well thats why i was asking
if it wasnt starters playing a lot then i have other plans
if its the game where most starters play a half or more then i cancel my plans and watch the game
based on last nights game, im guessing starters ought to play the full first half so that makes it a game worth watching

I forgot that this was a three game preseason. That will probably change the old norm where starters did not play the last preseason game.
If this was like the third game of four, then the starters would play through the 1st drive of the 2nd half. It will be somewhat interesting to see how they handle next week with Winston. Certainly he has to get significant game time reps in if he is going to start week one. ... and if he is playing then so are most of the starters.

thats why i was asking, no one ever came out and said how this preseason would be treated
so you had to wonder if they would just stick to the normal routine and just not have that last game where no one playing had much chance to make the team, or would they treat it like they were skipping one of the first or second games as they used to play
based on last nights thursday night game, the starters played the whole first half, so im assuming that is what we see the saints do tonight, so it should be a good game
