I'm all for Dez being on the team (in red zone situations) but he's still not fully healthy or capable of running simple routes.

I was in last year when we needed a red zone threat. I think Cook will be the go to this year.

i think the fit he had with us last year was just the right situation where it made sense but that time has passed.

he can help to be a situational player on a team with serious WR deficiencies, but that is no longer us.

as the season goes on he could find a team that loses a top receiver and is desperate, i think that is his only option at this point, he needs a major WR to have a season ending injury to give him value

as others have stated, hes older and slower then the guys playing now so he is not going to replace any healthy player on a team
