After what happened with Shockey, I'd like some confirmation before we start building a gallows for this guy.

Who cares? You got caught, move on.
How about this - I'm the snitch. And? Come at me.

I don't think you would want to be the snitch and have a ton of fans and a ton of players coming at you. I'm sure the falcons have had pay for performance for years and a lot of former nfl players have said that they have had the same for years. So you would be ratting on something that has been happening for years in the whole NFL. You wouldn't expect any backlash if you were the person doing this?

I think you all are mad at the wrong person. Blame is easily placed on the person who ratted the "secret" out but who should you really be mad at?

What stage is the fanbase at currently? Still seems to be Denial.

While you make a valid point, put yourself in Saints fan's shoes. Pretend for a second that it happened to you. You'd feel the same. Every team's fans would.

You think the falcons didn't do similar things over the years as what the Saints did? Joe Horn said it happened on every team he was a part of and he played for the Falcons.

And this guy ratted the secret out because he was disgruntled and couldn't get a job while he was a part of it during the season. He did it to get revenge on his former team. If he would have thought it was wrong, he should have ratted them out while he was coaching and not after because he couldn't get a job.

Assuming he is the person that ratted them out that is. That will be confirmed eventually.

I am mad at several people. One of them is the "snitch". He/she can DIAF as far as I am concerned.

GW
SP
RG
Snitch

In no particular order.

Whoever went to the NFL in order to root out the evil in the Saints franchise has the thanks and gratitude of real Saints fans.

Do people in New Orleans blame the murder problem on "snitches" and people who give valuable info on crimes to the police? Although the act is different, the situ is the same. You either care for justice, integrity, and honor or you don't. Those who do will alert the authorities in order that injustice be eradicated. Those who do not will try to hide corruption and evil, and then throw stones at those who seek justice.

Retarded comparison is retarded

Not even close to the same thing

So if you see a murder, should you talk to the police about what you saw or say you saw nothing?

A) I hate Joe Horn. Hated him my entire life.
B) Why would you trust what Joe Horn says?
C) Even if Joe Horn is correct and the Falcons do/did something similar, it still doesn't make it right.

That's like saying "Well, rape happens all over the world but we got caught. But, but, but, they do it EVERYWHERE so why are we being punished?"

My main point is that I think it's ignorant to be mad at the "snitcher" and not SP/Loomis/GW/the D players that did this, etc.

If i saw a murder I'd probably tell the police. What does this have to do with anything? I dont remember anyone getting murdered in the NFL. Oh shite, maybe its cause no one snitched it out. I see your point now.

Developing story on WWL:
Saints players convicted of premedated murder. Johnathan Vilma punished by having to defend passes and continuously getting smoked the remainder of his life. As Vilma was being booked he was quoted as saying "F a snitch! I'll tear all you mother f'ers ACL's."

No its not. Rape and murder are terrible things that happen to normally innocent people for no apparent reason. The so called "bounty" program is a league wide practice where people who are involved and people who get hit play in a sport where the entire point is to hit people. These comparisons are fricking stupid. Everyone who plays football knows they might get hurt and its a tough brutal sport. People who get raped arent playing in a profession where rape is somewhat bound to happen

That said, of course we are mad at GW. Everyone on here has said good riddance like 30 times.

So if you saw a murder and the guy murdered also murderered the original murderer's brother, you would rationalize it saying, "Well, it's a cultural thing. They kill each other. Tit for tat. No foul done here"?

No need to talk to the police about what you saw, right?

I think you're taking the physical act of rape too literally. Instead of the word rape, replace it with "murder" or "crime" or "theft" or "AnyActHere" that involves breaking a rule.

A rule was deemed to be broken by the Saints and *some* Saints fans are mad at whoever snitched instead of the actual offender. It's a childish mentallity.

With that being said, the Saints fans that are pissed at the offenders - my comments don't apply to you!
