An open letter to Gayle Benson: Replace Pete Carmichael

It is readily apparent that Pete Carmichael is unable to design and call offensive plays for the New Orleans Saints.
No one is asking for him to be fired. He needs to be replaced as a play caller and architect of the Saints offense.
An independent consultant not in the organization should give you an honest assessment of Pete Carmichael’s game day abilities.
The team has the defensive personnel and offensive skill players to win the division.
Please make an honest assessment of the situation. When fans see the team’s potential being wasted by an obvious problem and nothing is being done, fan loyalty can change to a totally toxic situation.

She doesn’t have to read it. It only takes a staff member or anyone in her organization pointing out the potential backlash from fans.

Why not mail a letter instead of posting to a message board that she will not read? I hate these "open letters"

It is simply a literary vehicle to express an opinion. She will definitely not read any personal letters sent to her. It a means to drive public opinion.
