As long as don’t throw good money after bad and do things like trade draft picks to move up

they 100% will do this because they need a replacement for MT and an insurance replacement WR for olave as well in case he doesnt get his shite together this offseason and decides to be part of the team.

so be prepared for both our 1st round picks (ours plus trade back up in 1st for another one) to be WRs

or mess up our cap even further

sadly they will 100% do this again as well, since we will have no choice but to restructure the contracts for at least 7 or 8 guys at a minimum, and that will lock them into guaranteed contracts for years passed any productive play we could ever get from them.

If he sucks as bad as we think then as the roster ages and the cap bill comes due we’ll bottom out and go like 3-14 and position ourselves to get a franchise qb and attract a good young coach.

and that is the catch 22, whats best for the team is to just clear the books of the bad deals and just accept a losing season or two, but that would require DA agrees to suck and get fired and no coach is ever going to help the team at their own sacrifice.

What dynamic coach is lining upAllen?

ach this ticking time bomb of a roster?

The Saints are known as a good organization. They have spent top 5 actual money on contracts.

They can get a good coach.

Coaching record by year.
2012: 4-12
2013: 4-12
2014: 0-4
2022: 7-10
2023: 8-8

Overall coaching record.
23-46

Coaching record for the Saints.
15-18

As head coach of the Saints, he is 3-9 against teams with a winning record.

2022
Minnesota (13-4) L
Seattle (9-8) W
Bengals (12-4) L
Ravens (10-7) L
Pittsburgh (9-8) L
49ers (13-4) L
Eagles (14-3) W

2023 (so far)
Houston (9-7) L
Jaguars (9-7) L
Colts (9-7) W
Detroit (11-5) L
Rams (9-7) L

This year’s schedule.

W Titans 5-11
W Panthers 2-14
L Packers 7-8
L Buccaneers 8-8
W Patriots 4-12
L Texans 9-7
L Jaguars 9-7
W Colts 9-7
W Bears 7-9
L Viking 7-8
L falcons 7-9
L Lions 11-5
W Panthers 2-14
W Giants 5-11
L Rams 9-7
W Buccaneers 8-8

We beat one team with a winning record this year.
We’ve lost to four teams that are .500 or below.
Half of our wins are against the worst teams in the NFL. (Panthers, Patriots, Panthers and Giants)

There is no reason Dennis Allen should be retained as head coach of the Saints.

FIRE DENNIS ALLEN!!!

I think given the cap situation, why not as long as a new OC is coming in?
2024 and possibly 2025 will be crap years.
