You are right. Great talent…played hard and was a stud….but the breakup was so bad. I choose to keep him off.

This thread makes me sad for Carl Nicks. That guy was absolutely great, truly, and then his career ended with an infection.
That jahri evans/carl nicks combo doesn’t get enough love as an all time great duo because 1. they didn’t play together long enough, and 2. the saints choked away a playoff game in 2011 and didn’t win a second Super Bowl that year.
But I’m not sure anyone has ever had two better guards than the saints had from 2009-2011.
