Got me wondering.
How much say should players have in this process? Especially players that likely won't be around much longer.
I feel like all situations are different but in the Saints situation it shouldn't matter at all. This team is in dire need of a total culture change. A totally new defensive system and philosophy. Maybe on offense too but I think they begin that last season.

I put Washington down as a wildcard team at the start of the season. Part of my decision was them drafting JD5, but the thing that settled it for me was them hiring Kingsbury as OC. He made a midget QB in Arizona appear to be the next Mahomes. The thing that surprised me the most about Washington was how bad their defense played to start the season.

Of course he does. Players are about the absolute worst people to ask in these situations. This is their job and they like working with some people just like we all do. He’s making a shitload of money either way.
