I had concerns there could be more inept performances (didn't expect from the refs).

Last time Buffet was with the Saints was at the Greenbriar. The writing was on the walls.

Buffet did a great national anthem. What are you talking about?

Chillaxing like an elitist at the Country Club with a sandy, hippie, pothead with a magarita machine doesnt it really go together with a violent contact sport.

It was a good ol baw singing a good ol song. I'd drink a beer to that. Sorry I'm not a music major. It wasn't as bad as the old black lady from one of the playoff games last year. Sure she was talented when younger, and maybe age has hit her and Buffet both, but it was much more enjoyable and tolerable than any anthem I've heard in recent memory.

Total solid. 8/10, would listen again.

Take the venue into account.

It’s not easy to hear in the Superdome in that environment, much less sing. He probably couldn’t hear his monitors. And acoustically, the Dome is far less than ideal.

Buffett far exceeded expectations on the anthem, at least for me. I didn't think with his modest range that he could pull it off, but he stayed within himself and did a good job. Not an all-time anthem but better than many I have heard.

Best anthem ever: Kermit Ruffins and Jeremy Davenport, dueling trumpets, in the playoffs against (I think) the Eagles.
