A sign of bad coaching

Thinking back on this season so far I've noticed a trend.
We almost never start the game well. We always seem to rely on adjustments.
This has started to show up with the defense as well.
We're basically wasting the preparation time we had all week because whatever we came up with doesn't work. It puts us behind the 8 ball every game.

Its so bad it got me considering its the super double secret tank plan we have enacted. But then I look at the QB contract and say nope. Left with a terrible coaching staff on offense and a HC unable to fix it. Also your two kickers are not performing well Dennis.

The kicker situation is unforgivable. It straight up has costs us games.

You know as the game went on last night I kept looking up at the scoreboard and if you were just looking at yardage time of possessions the turnover battle all that and you couldn't see the score you would automatically assume the saints were going to win.
The Saints didn't even have that many penalties against them that one pass interference call in the second half I thought was horseshite.
Early on in that game Jacksonville was doing everything they could to give us the game turn the ball over twice very early and when we failed to score a touchdown and really make them pay I mean I think we knew the answer to the question if we were going to win or lose that game then and there
Drspite the loss I had a good time and I was trying to be as positive as I could the energy in the building especially in the second half was great but I held my tongue on all the bad stuff and I don't plan to say everything that pissed me off about last night that's about it.

In the NFL, having a poor kicker will cost you a game or two in any given season.. But for the Saints this year.. we are not losing games because of the Kicker..

We get breaks and adjust as the game goes along but we don't build on it. The next game we're right back to where we were. We don't learn anything.

That we lost the game because we failed in the red zone multiple times but Dennis said in postgame that it's getting better and a lot of teams would be good with 50% because it's league average.
Another sign throwing a goal line fade. Another, cutting the playbook despite the timeout situation in back to back games.

Foster has to catch that. It hit him in the hands. Carr made some mistakes but I don't put that on him.

Well yeah but that wasnt a fade. The fades were the no chance pass to Thomas in the 1st half then the no chance pass to Olave at the end. It's a dumb lazy play call that if you have to call should only be thrown to a former basketball player TE that did that his whole career but we don't' have one of those on the team.

We do start bad but we were spoiled with two great minds in SP and DB going over a pre set of plays to start the game. We do not have anyone who can do that anymore.

they must be playing board games at practice because not a single WR knows how to run a correct route or break it off when they blitz.
7 games in and the most basic of things you practice, they cannot do
but DA says things are fine, just need to get better
