I guess one thing that will come from this season is Brees breaking the passing yards record for a season. 420 yards today.

i mean we had to pretty much the entire 2nd half to try and come back. i agree we should have ran more in the 1st half though

Thats cause Payton hated Deuce and fails to use the run no matter how good we are doing. We were racking up the yards in the 1st half and he just refuses to use what works.

If Sean refuses to use Thunder we still have Lightning...who has creaky knees.

When your RB's are Thomas, Stecker and Duce I am surprised they ran at all. Duce was great in his time the other two draw liquid out of something w/their mouth or suck.

We had 6 points in the first half....and our offense was very balanced then. We stopped running in the 2nd half when we were so far behind. We don't have a dominant running back..we do at QB...case closed.

I just meant that we were breaking away a few and then all we do is throw so Drew goes right back to the sidelines too fast. It might have been balanced the 1st half but the timing of picking a run or pass is what made the difference. Such as pass on 3rd and 2 and not run when the run would have keep Brees on the field, we would of had more time of possesion and stopped ATL from scoring so damn fast and eating up the clock!! Just bad timing of some of the passes he called when it should of been run, thats all I'm saying.

And those 3 RBs had 14 carries for 65 yards, 4.6YPC.

To throw 58 times and only run your RBs 14 is ridiculous. We were only down 11 at the half, and down 14 after 3, there really is no excuse for that discrepancy, especially when we were running well.
