You realize that mock drafts especially around this time is simply to keep getting clicks during the 'down time' with the NFL. Do you think the Saints are thinking 'this mock draft guy is onto something '.....

They should have. The Saints are known for drafting the same position of biggest need (3 of last 4 drafts OT 1st) over and over because their bust rate is so high.

QB is not a bad assumption at all for 26, the mocker is likely assuming Shough isn’t going to be the answer either.

Not really, you're looking at it in closed ended terms. You have this QB and if he's decent and you pick a 1st round QB, you have a potential backup QB, you have trade value, you're not just throwing that QB away forever. At this point Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler still have value to the team. It might not be much, but until they're gone, you can't close the book on them.
