There is hope. But very few concrete positives. The draft class could be great. But it also could be terrible. No one will know until the season. The HC could be great. But he may be awful. He's never been a HC.

The main positive is that the front office finally appears to have fully accepted the Payton/Brees glory days are over and the franchise has to start rebuilding again instead of wasting time/money holding on to the last remnants of that era. That acceptance was the first step in trying to get better.
