You are actually an idiot if your think preseason lists shows the strength of schedule.

Atlanta, NO, and TB were skewed some bc of how horrendous Carolina was. Adding 4-30 (.118) to every one of their schedules drug down winning %. Maybe someone who cares more will get the median of the nfl w-l to see if it's the same.

You can make up shite out of your arse like “well we should have won 2 more games” but when people use actual facts you just call them an idiot

The preseason one is based on the record the year before. It doesn’t always hold exactly 100% but is a pretty good guide. The Saints had the easiest schedule in 2023 based on 2023 records.

There’s always some excuse
Look at the QBs the Saints faced. As someone pointed out in another thread we played several teams with back up QBs. It was an easy schedule for a team in win now mode to miss the playoffs is a bad sign

I'm sorry math makes you mad. I don't even care about this... just saying median would be a better measure.

I did it for saint opp's win totals...
Mean - 7
Median - 7
Mode - 9

So there was no difference in mean and median.

Isn’t it a bit of a wash because having a team that bad in it gave the other 3 teams two free spaces ?

The following things are not up for debate:
1. Our division is bad
2. We had an easy schedule made even easier by catching some back up QBs
3. With a roster and qb specifically brought in to take advantage of the the first two points, we still failed to make the playoffs.

This wasn’t a good football team that caught some bad breaks and barely missed the playoffs. It was a bad to mediocre team that caught breaks to even be in position to make them

How is math making me mad? Donthe games against Carolina not count?
How can you dispute the Saints had an easy schedule? They played 6 games against teams that made the playoffs and 2 of those are Tampa they were 1-5 in those games.

I'd like you to bump the post where I said it wasn't an easy schedule.
