Holyfield and Sills were my top choices but Holyfield went to Carolina.

Hansen was rated one spot above Holyfield on ESPN.

He’s 26 years old. Undersized. Had some injuries. But has produced and plays hard.

Villanova OL Ethan Greenidge signing as a UDFA with the Saints

Saints are signing Assumption college WR/returner Deonte Harris as an undrafted free agent, per source. Harris is the NCAA all-division leader in career kick/punt return TDs.

Nice. I'd like at least 1 more RB as well.

Ozigbo is as a one year wonder but he is was pretty damn good that one year. Bruiser.

What O-Line position does Ethan Greenidge play? Hopefully it's OT.

Player Bio

The Huskers nabbed Ozigbo from Texas, where he was an All-District pick as a senior. While he did not start as a true freshman in 2015, he managed to contribute as a rusher (38-209-5.5, one TD) and receiver (5-62-12.4). His workload increased in 2016 (97-412-4.2, five TD rushing; 5-100-20.0 receiving), starting 1 of 11 games played but fought an ankle injury throughout the year. Ozigbo then led the Huskers in rushing his final two seasons. He started just 3 of 10 games in 2017 (sitting out the first two games per the coaches' decision) but paced the team with 493 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 129 carries (3.8 average) and caught 16 passes for 123 yards (7.7 average). Ozigbo saved his best for last, garnering honorable mention All-Big Ten honors as a senior after running for 1,082 yards and 12 scores on just 155 totes (7.0 average). He also set career highs with 23 receptions for 203 yards (8.8 average).

Analysis

Draft Projection

Round 5

NFL Comparison

Robert Turbin

Overview

Intriguing, one-year wonder with size and speed to catch the attention of NFL evaluators. Ozigbo is an explosive, downhill runner with adequate vision and above-average power, but he's a one-speed runner who might need a more nuanced approach on the next level. Ozigbo's senior tape and impressive traits could be enough to land a role as an NFL backup.

Strengths

Big back with bruising frame

Thick from hips to knees

Drives upfield with powerful strides and surprising burst

Passionate running style

Speed to the corner can invalidate pursuit angles

Had touchdown runs of 40, 60, and 66 yards in 2018

Hugs interior run lanes to avoid unnecessary traffic

Maintains his balance through aggressive cuts

Absorbs contact without being knocked off his feet

Low pad level carries him forward when finishing

Legitimate pass-catcher with ability to man the slot on empty sets

Effort to square and stay connected to blitzers in pass protection

Weaknesses

One-year wonder with chunks of production coming against lesser defenses

Had 41 carries for 170 yards and 0 TDs vs

Michigan, Ohio St., Wisconsin and Iowa combined

Impatient profile as a runner

Will outpace pulling guards rather than setting up blocks

Excessive gather steps to make a downhill cut on wide flowing plays

Revs motor and struggles to tap brakes to make cuts on second level

Long strides make it tough to escape early traffic

Tape is filled with punishing collisions

Good enough for me. As long as he's not a Center. We, literally, have 4 of those.
