You have came on this thread at least 3 times bitching about how it needs to be taken off. Whats your deal..Whats so bad about the thread..It informs people who don't get a chance to stay on TD all day. I just don't understand you...whats the point of trying to get threads taken off the bored simply b/c you don't like it

It has usually lagged quite a bit behind. You can get up to date transactions and rosters quite a few places.
Uh, where are 3 places bitching to have it taken off? I laughed about it's out of dateness but I don't see that.

It may have lagged behind once are twice but for the most part it has been updated rather quickly. Every day I update it if there's a transaction. Some people actually have jobs and can not be on TD all day like you are. I for 1 like your updates and have thought you have brought a lot to the board but there's no need to bash threads especially ones that inform the board. No one wants to go to other sights looking for info when it can be clearly posted on TD's Saints Boared. People like to know the basics of whats going on and i feel that this thread does that by wrapping all the info into one. Now instead of complaining about it you can let me know if something needs to be added, changed, or updated and i will gladly do that. All I am doing is informing the boared and if you don't like it than just don't read it.

I'm not sold on the Jenkins projection to safety. I saw him get burned at safety vs LSU in the title game. Then I saw him playing some safety in the USC-Ohio St game and he got burned for one of the first TD's. I saw him give up a few key first downs in the Fiesta Bowl vs Texas. In college, I had the distinct impression that the dude couldn't play safety, at least from what I saw in some very big games. I hope I am wrong.
But as a corner, his journey has been similar to Leon Hall's. Hall, if you remember, was the arguably Big Ten's best CB for a couple of years running. He was a playmaker who had ball skills. But then he gets burned by USC WR's multiple times in the Rose Bowl. There was even talk of moving him to safety. Then he gets drafted as one of the top CB's mid first round by Cincy. Since then, all he has done is shut up the doomsayers ( namely me) by making 144 tackles and grab 8 INT's in two years!
I have a gut feeling Jenkins can make a Leon Hall kind of impact in the pro's and put all of this safety talk to rest. If so, the Saints have a steal, and a big piece to the playoff puzzle.

I hope you're right. In his highlight film it shows a Michigan receiver burn him, but hemakes up enough ground to make the play. Hardly a highlight.

144 tackles
Isn't that a bit high for a CB in a 2 year time span?
Asomugha's stats for the last 2 seasons: 74 tackles and 2 ints
After an 8 int 2006 season, teams would not throw to his side.

HEATH EVANS IS GOING TO ROCK THE HOUSE BABY!!!!
I'd like to believe this. Is Peyton going to use him in the offensive attack more than Karney? I loved Karney but he was rarely used. Will Evans be able to block as well as Karney?

I guess powerback Herb "The Beast" Donaldson's Saints' career is already over... I didn't see him on the announced list.

There were a handful of injuries today. Linebacker Stanley Arnoux, the Saints' fourth-round draft pick, suffered an undisclosed leg injury. We'll try to find out later today how significant the injury is. Hopefully he'll be more fortunate than tryout candidate John Halman, a receiver from Concordia College who tore his Achilles tendon during a set of "routine drills."
