My problem with the Banks pick isn’t the player himself. I think he’s going to be a solid pro for a long time actually. My problem is where the player was selected. Could have traded back and gotten him at 13-14. This meat of this draft class is 2nd and 3rd round guys that can help you rebuild. Could have gotten some extra capital by trading back once or twice and ended with the same result. We all would have been very happy with that.

That’s a lie. 5 olinemen picked in the top 20 and you think the Saints trading back could have landed the third best one.

lol frick no

Link?

This ain’t Madden. You can’t force a trade. Nobody wanted to move to 9. Banks at 9 is a good value.

You can’t say that. Somebody moving up probably would want to move up to take Banks. Mocks aren’t biblical scrips.

This was a good pick.

Anyone that watched Penning consistently get walked back into the QB's lap loves this pick. God forbid Penning or Fuaga gets injured, you would have literal no names playing OT.

Pretty much everyone was trying to trade back this draft. How many did you see actually happen?

This is a bit much. It was a bit of a reach. Not into "bad pick" territory but nowhere near good value at 9

I'm with you on that. I think we could have have traded back a little and got the same player or same position and gain an additional pick or two
