To what end? You have an expensive group that is a fringe playoff team and is super injury prone. It's basically the same setup as the Suns this year, but not as good. You want two years of that?

i mean it still wouldn't be a tax team, but aside from zion is a relatively healthy team aside from freakish injuries. Booker's hamstring injuries seem better after a couple years away from that post season run. Herb and Trey tend to be healthy aside from this year's freak injury. Missi has shown to be a solid health.

the issue is and will always be zion.

I wouldn't trade for any high priced vets, especially ones that are maxed out. These next two drafts, 25 and 26, are super loaded. We should be focused on acquiring multiple lottery picks, top 10 preferably, in both. I'd focus on acquiring additional selections. I would put Zion, Murphy and everyone on the team on the market to get them.

A maxed out Devin Booker that puts up 25/4/7 is a still a top 5 guard in this league. the issue is our bench would actually need to be better at the 4/5 STILL.

Matkovic has proven he’s a capable rotation big that is a 4 that can play stretch 5. Same with Kelly Olynyk who I think the team wants to keep next year. Truly we need a starting center and have Missi as the backup while he grows his game. This is why I’d happily trade the 2nd or 3rd pick for Sabonis. It’s hard enough to get stars to want to play in New Orleans so acquiring them through trade is pretty much the only way.

I just thought about it. This is almost the same exact team as this year. The only major difference is you have Booker/Allen/Olynyk, instead of Ingram/Murray/McCollum, on the team. I know we had injuries and never saw everyone together. But we were still pretty awful.

I feel Booker has an only going to Houston is he gets traded.

Phoenix could get back all their future picks along with Jabari Smith, Whitmore, and VanFleet.

Ship out Durant for a small trade package and expiring contracts and play Beal for 48 minutes a game until he dies for refusing to get traded.
