Hi folks,

Hope you are well ....opinion request, please.

Wondering of OKC would have an interest in Zion (or any of our other assets) ? Not sure who fits as a salary take back, but I can see their need for a big with Chet and Hart's injuries.

Would see us benefiting from some of their draft capital.

Thoughts ?

No. OKC prioritizes two things with their roster construction, long athletic guys that can shoot. Zion isn't long nor can he shoot. He would muck up their 5-out style offense. Zion needs to be the center of a teams basketball universe in order to make him work. Shea is a better basketball player and a Top 5 guy right now. There's no way you sacrifice Shea's production for Zion.

Also, Zion would be a terrible fit with Hartenstein.

Now... Trey would be the guy that would work perfect for their scheme.

Zion to a team who needs talent and a big man might want to make a push.

Brooklyn
Detroit
Atlanta
Miami
Charlotte
Chicago
Toronto
Washington
Houston
LA clippers
Portland

Then filter out who would not want to ruin their tank. That being said, individual talent on this team is solid. The mesh esp with injuries makes it hard to build a team together. There's not enough overlap to be okay when we miss out on a big part like zion and Murray
