Willie's lineups

Pels cut the laker lead to 6 points with around 2 minutes left in q3, since ingram had 4 fouls willie wanted to sit him for the remainder of the quarter so he doesnt pick up a lazy 5th i get it. but the lakers noticed that and took advantage and immediately put lebron and AD into the game.
AD covers Jonas, Lebron on herb, CJ gets doubled.
our only 2 scoring options before ingram got put back in were murphy and jose.... willie has to do better.
PS: tough to beat lakers and refs on one night

Willie is not a good in-game coach. He doesn't know how to adjust on the fly and just throws lineups out there hoping they'll figure it out.

I enjoy when he calls a timeout to stop momentum but runs the same lineup back out. Good times.

If we have CJ, Jose, Trey and Jonas on the court and don’t have offense, there is a bigger issue than just lineups. That’s certainly not a defensive grouping.
That’s not to say I disagree with you on Willie’s rotations and overall coaching.

i think the emotional and psychological toll on the coach of zions situation must be enormous.
going back to stan no one seems to know wtf zion is up to. diet? maybe out of control. who talked to him about his beavis and butthead imitation when he was watching cj stretch.

Brother…what other scoring options can Willie play if BI is on the bench and Z is in street clothes? Naji? Jax??? Richardson had already been tossed at this point.
We are a team built around 4 good to great offensive players and a bunch of role players who are going to be overburdened taking on a large scoring load
It’s a well constructed team when our rim destroying All-NBA caliber power forward is out there. Hopefully his recovery picks up.
