My vote is to stay hornets over these other shitty names presented.
But I really don't care at this point one way or another. I'm just glad the team has the foundation to stay here long term. I'm a huge fan of basketball. Huge fan of this franchise. Season ticket holder and will continue to support this franchise no matter what rebrand we go through.

i don't care what our name is, as long as it's not too terrible...i just want this issue to get resolved quick so we can get back to talking (enter team name here) basketball, and stop having a thousand team name threads

No one besides Benson knows if the name will be changed or not. But IMO (not that it matters) is we should keep this name. Yes we do have tradition. CP3 was born in New Orleans and I am not butthurt he left the way he left. He hooked us up with a good trade to start over. I feel like the New Orleans Hornets' die hard fans will appreciate next year better when we are in play off contention with the Hornets as our mascot rather than anything else.
