I likely pay more attention than most. I guess I'd ask what evidence you have that Gayle is actually fully invested in the team? Other than media releases where she just says what she's supposed to.

We swept the Blazers in the playoffs in April of 2018.

It's insane that so many of y'all act like we've been terrible for decades.

Again, we have crappy, weak, fake fans. It's really the organization's biggest problem. People who whine about the fact that we're named the Pelicans? Those aren't fans.

That series almost seems like a dream I had one time at this point.

It was the only significant accomplishment outside making the playoffs once, that we had the in the whole Anthony Davis cycle and in 10+ years.

But youre right, that series was in 2018.

How many games does Gayle attend?

She’s in her suite for every single one that doesn’t conflict with a Saints game.

In fact, I was surprised to see her last night. I thought she’d be with the team in TN by then. But there she was, dressed in Pels red. Cam Jordan was in his court side seat and Mark Ingram was feeding Red Panda her bowls so I guess they left today. I’ll let you know if she stayed behind for the Grizz.

I was under the understanding that the Pels and Saints are given similar resources. I doubt anyone would say the Saints are not being taken care of so I don’t see how the Pels are not considered being taken care of.

The Pels main problem has been season after season completely destroyed by injury. I don’t know if it is scouting the right type or players, training staff, or just bad luck. Most of our players with injury issues were very highly thought of around the league/media.

Monty, Al, and Stan were not perfect, but the injuries have been the biggest issues. I actually think the bigger issue was our roster being immature and having poor vets last season with Stan. Steven Adams was awesome, but Redick and Bledsoe were a joke.

The last couple of seasons have been kind of bad also because we were rebuilding and developing young players during Covid times. That limited some growth. Also the whole Bledsoe, Redick, and Melli experiment were complete bust.
