It’s not anyone else’s fault but your own for making the dumbest fricking statement that the rookie will start at center out the gate and anyone that calls bullshite “has never played basketball”. Stupid thread to make, asking us who we think we’re going to trade for? Hopefully it’s either Jokic or Embiid tbh. I was simply discussing how I thought Missi’s skill set would translate into early success in the minutes he gets but y’all are gay for JV so the discussion became irrational. I never argued Missi was better than JV, I argued he’s much more athletic than JV and because of that he will be more efficient around the rim on dunks and putbacks. All this shite posting because of that lmao. I still haven’t had one JV fanboy come and explain why a player of his caliber signed with the worst team in the league when he could have helped a contender. Not one person has addressed this, stop cherry picking other shite to get offended by and address JV signing with the worst roster in the league.

Yep JV definitely fricked your wife and blew the bottom out of it because you have a very unhealthy hatred for a guy you don’t even know. Kind of like you’re a ring like Missi is in the same league as Lively was coming out of college. You said something stupid, it happens, get over it. Try not to slit your wrists when Missi starts the year in Birmingham.

I still just want 1 person to address JV signing with the worst team in the league which just blatantly committed to tanking by trading Deni for picks. No contender could have afforded a winning piece like JV for $10M? That’s really all I’m asking for but instead dude just wants to talk about my nonexistent wife, I have a cute little Australian Shepard but I would hope JV isn’t into that type of stuff.

Your original post was that Misi will be more valuable this year than JV would have been. That's just a laughable take, which is why people have been clowning you. It's not emotional to acknowledge that JV is 10x the player Misi is as of right now. Your stance is the hot take.

You read what you want to read, bud. I’ve been consistent in saying JV is better all around but Missi is more athletic and will be more efficient at dunking and putbacks which is what I believe this team needs more of. This team doesn’t need a C that plays in the post and makes a series of moves. Again, I didn’t say anything controversial. The JV support is just crazy, you can’t critique him at all or you hate him as a person without even knowing him. That is emotional.

he can’t be slower than JV was. This current roster construction doesn’t need any offense from the 5 outside of putbacks and open dunks from the dunkers spot. Missi will be better at that than JV and I think way more fleet of foot than JV on defense. Obviously JV is very skilled offensively but this team doesn’t need that at all with how many playmakers we now have

Why is it so hard to understand that I think the 20 yo will be a better dunker and scorer directly underneath the goal? He doesn’t need basketball experience to dunk the ball. I also stated that Missi will be much faster than JV on defense, never even specifically said he will be a BETTER defender. My initial comments on JV were actually very reserved but it still caused outrage because Yaz took a quote out of context and insinuated I said Missi is better than JV. Not true. I said will be better AT scoring around the goal on open dunks. Like how Gafford shot a ridiculous shot % because he’s scoring uncontested dunks provided to him on a silver platter. That is what I was trying to argue Missi will be able to do well.
