In our draft picks, I do not see any from the Lakers in the AD trade. What is going on with those picks? Will we ever get value out of these considering LA is good and should be good for next few years at least.

The Lakers 2021 pick only went to the Pels if it was in the top 7. Otherwise it’s unprotected in 2022.

we traded our best players for a bunch of 1st rd picks next century in the late 20's.

Chad is a fortune teller and injures never happen.

This is by design. The Lakers’ 2025 pick is more valuable than 2023, which is more valuable than 2021.

And the Bucks 27 is more valuable than 25.

Not to mention... we have pick swaps with both teams. If either team crumbles, we are in really good shape.

the present injuries to lebron and davis seem to offer a non zero chance that one of these days the pels are better than the Lakers and even if its the pels 1.23rd for the lakers 1.15 its better.

We also got an all star in BI, got a rotational player in NAW and Jaxon has showed major strides and is what only 20? We also got solid bench depth and a vocal leader who wants to be here in Hart. If the picks just turn into some cheap depth, we dumped a lockeroom cancer who wanted out and was able to reset the failed AD project.

Yeah, I don't know what people wanted from this trade. We were not operating from the position of power. Our player wanted out and limited our options. We took a deal that gave us some immediate talent and a high draft pick and gave us a possibility of good draft picks down the road. What more can you ask for? If it doesn't work out like that then oh well but I don't begrudge us for making the deal.
