Honest question. He's a solid player who fills the stat sheet and plays elite defense. Why do so many people here act like he's JR Smith or something?

He played like trash in the playoffs, which was probably 80%+ of this board's Milwaukee viewing. He'll be fine if we keep him.

He is an older player (will be 31 when the season starts). He did have injury issues. But that does seem to have gotten better. He is a great athlete and that tends to errode over time. Was seen as a stat stuffer, especially while with the Clips and the Suns. Not a true PG and didn't step up when the Bucks needed him. He is a 6'0 SG that isn't a good shooter..

He's a decent player... B+ version of Jrue honestly... His issue with remaining on this team is the same as Jrue. Doesnt necessarily fit timeline and not elite enough to disregard that fact like Chris Paul (although I think the Suns just saw the last good year of Chris).

Rather continue to develop Lonzo. Lonzo can be All-Defensive but with better shooting and obviously true point guard playmaking ability.

I don’t think anyone hates him. We just all know he’s getting traded at some point by next season.

Averaged 15 pts 5 reb and 5 assists last year and is pretty good at def. I would certainly call him a good player, and we need someone to take Jrue's minutes. He has 2 years left on his contract so we won't get any trade value for him this year so he's prob not going anywhere.

In below average minutes. He’s easily close to a 20ppg guy with average starter minutes.

Didn’t this guy flat out say one time he wouldn’t want to play for us?

Yea, comes up short. Terry Rozier made a lot of money owning him in the playoffs one year. Not as big an issue here bc this isn't a title contender.

He's fine for this team and a solid player. My question is, does he want to be here?

At which point?

Was this when he was potentially part of the CP3 trade? Or later on when he was in Phoenix?

Forbes has a great article on him and how desperate the Bucks were to upgrade at PG. He killed them in the playoffs the past 3 years. Fair or not, they sort of put it all on him..
