I get what he is supposed to bring, but it is obvious Zion doesn't respond. We need a mean son of a bitch as our lockerroom vet.

I said this is another thread, I like having 1-2 older vets as the end of the bench guys. They are an extension of the coaching staff and help enforce a mature team culture.

Rosters are too large and rotations should only be 10-11 guys barring injuries. Players only improve through playing. So stashing young projects at the end of the bench with no playing time does not serve anyone. Those type of players should go to the Gleague or stay in college to develop..

more than what the average 15th guy on a roster brings, which is next to nothing. Yeah it would be nice if he didn't make $5M/yr. If its we pay the tax or cut Temple, then it's a simple decision and we aren't going to guarantee him his contract, which is extremely likely to happen, so i dont' understand why anyone cares about this. We aren't paying the tax and keeping Temple.

maybe we'd be better off with Noah Vonley at the end of our bench, or Ish Wainwright, or Peyton Watson, or Andre Igoudala, or Wenyen Gabriel, or Haywood Highsmith, or Miles McBride, or Montraz Harrell. Those guys are all bringing something to their respective playoff teams right now.
