Why are the more prevalent names wanted on here for the new franchise re-treads of old or current teams. Pelicans, Voodoo, Brass. Why use the old names for defunct or current franchises? With the team starting new, why not use something fresh and original?

Well when I hear an "original" name I like better than previously used names, I'll go with that.

I really think Brass sounds the best, but I've had a hard time not thinking about the minor leauge hockey team. Although I'm sure that would quickly be forgotten.
Of the chosen ones, I think I pick Brass first now.
