True enough. Media calls us the Bees most of the time which has nothing to do with Hornets except being another insect. So I guess they can name us anything and the mascot/logo can also have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

That's pushing it. All our cultural staples aren't allowed any more then. Can't use Brass cuz it's like Jazz. And on and on and on. Next thing you know we'll be called the New Orleans Potholes.

Why would we want a bad arse name and not a bad arse mascot? The reaper could have a kid friendly side kick, but I think this is why Voodoo works better than Reaper. It can be just as dark and edgy, but can lighten up if it needs to. For example Reaper cheerleaders = Reaperettes
While Voodoo cheerleaders = The Voodoo Dolls
