I think if Ainge ever comes around to this offer as a minimum, it would be hard for the Pels to refuse:

Tatum + Smart + whatever filler + 14 + 22

Yep I'm in on that. Would love love more future pick but if that kicks it back to the Lakers then I don't need it.

I personally believe that Sam Amico is the least reliable "insider" there is (Ie he has no information whatsoever).

But hey I'll take it.

He's an aggregator for the most part, I just thought the tweet phrasing was funny.

If the past is any indication, real live trade information is rarely leaked. No one really leaks the details of a trade until it breaks. So, IMO it's fairly unlikely that we've guessed what the actual trade is going to be.

What would you think of this lineup then?

Smart/Jrue/Tatum/Zion/Randle ???

That would be super bully ball. Can you imagine?

Treat Zion and Randle as interchangeable on either side of the court. They would get the nickname the “Bruise Brothers” in no time...

Then with Smart too? That would be one tough mother frickin lineup!

Why would Julius opt in to his 9 mil contract when he can get more money and a longer contract somewhere else

Agreed. With the FA market drying up a bit on the high end, he stands to get paid.

I’m told the Pels are willing to agree to terms now. The price: Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, #4 pick. If LAL is willing to deal all above, deal is done.

Hey man he shot 33% for threes last year. That shows plenty of potential to get up to 35%+ as soon as next year. I don’t think he’s as bad a fit as made out. Also, I have this feeling Zion’s hyper beast drive will sort of be contagious to a guy like Randle..

If that is all we get, I am going to be severely pissed.

I’m thinking this is bait to get other bidders to step up lest they lose AD for what appears to be a low price.

Maybe so but Pelicans can match no matter what. Why let an asset get away when at the worse he could be traded for a better fit at the trade deadline.

That package would not surprise me at all. If Boston does not step up and offer Tatum and 2 of their other 3 assests (Smart, Brown, Memphis pick), I can see this being what we accept.

Excuse this very not elite question, but what is the time frame a player can be traded again after a trade? I know there are certain scenarios but just in general, if you acquire player X, when can player X be traded again? 60 days?

I think more bidders would show up if it looked like we would hold him.

Either the Lake Show’s offer would increase or, if they blew their money on FAs, other teams would step up thinking they had a better chance of keeping him.
