This is not a big concern. You’re making a mole hill into a mountain concern here.
You are arguing with me in a thread literally titled “what big men are attainable” because that is our biggest concern. WTF are you talking about.
You are being extremely obtuse

Please tell me how many NBA teams don’t have a Center on their roster under the age of 26? And then tell me how many of the teams that don’t have one under 26 have a better center in your opinion than Val. You are going to cross out just about all NBA teams. Even teams like Minny who have Gobert/ KAT/ Reid don’t necessarily want to trade them. They don’t want to pay KAT while also having Gobert/ Reid but they don’t want to trade them.
First lets start with MIN- every media outlet has stated that they will look to trade KAT. You assuming they don’t want to trade him is just your assumption which is senseless to use in an argument.
Again this obsession with having a center under 26 on the roster and acting like having one means you have depth at that position is dumb. Plenty of teams don’t have this- clippers, kings, heat, bucks, and others. Are these bad noncompetitive franchises? Again this is just some weird obsession complaint you’re stuck on.

Big men are attainable doesn’t mean start a complain thread that thuis franchise hasn’t developed young bigs since 2017 and go on crazy rants that we would be so much better if we did. This thread is to discuss trades for big men not go off on some weird tangent of how we havent drafted and developed bigs in the history of this franchise. Your whole argument on this topic is completely obtuse and another reason why NBA GMs don’t listen to fans when developing teams.

How do you they don’t want to trade them?- that is an assumption. Its been actively reported they want to trade them not that they don’t want to.

It’s not an obsession bruh what the hell are you talking about. I’ve supplied legit stats and reasons as to why it’s not normal and the main cause of many of our problems.
It’s the sole reason we even have this thread. I’ve stated that several times and somehow your brain still just can’t comprehend the big picture here. It’s actually crazy

You keep stating stats from 2017- thats moronically dumb to state since its two different regimes. Why people question you bringing up big men like Asik. Like wtf who cares- Griffin had nothing to do with that??!!
Your brain is obsessed with complaining about not drafting young bigs in the bottom if first and developing them. This is not what this thread is about. You have gone off a dumb arse tangent and having meltdowns over it. Im not the only complaining about your weird off tangent arguments.

My first response to the thread was suggesting BI for Mathurin/ Turner. I then went on to discuss about how we really need to find the solution through the draft and brought up stats showing why it’s the main reason we are in this thread. I also stated why it’s not easy to trade and upgrade because it still hurts us.
I’ve brought a good bit of substance, opinions, and reasoning in this thread. You are simply arguing with me while having absolutely no common sense about the big picture here

I’ve brought more to this thread being “off topic” than you have fantasizing about what temporary fix gets you excited next.

I swear you brought up stats from 2017 if not earlier???!! Griffin wasn’t fricking here you moron. Thats the definition of no common sense.

Im glad you can finally can admit it being off topic. Its about god damn time. If you think you brought more- that’s clearly your own opinion but all power to you.

What Center prospects you liking? Sarr probably out of draft range, possible trade up. Clingan and Mara are the next tier bigs, Clingan is Hawkins old teammate at uconn. Ware and Bona bring a different skillset.

I feel like Mara may go earlier than when some think. Mara, filipowski, really any of those guys in that range/ projected skill. At least give us a fighting chance to attain a playable big.
I still am holding hope that Robbins recovers and we give him another chance.
There’s a reason many trade ups happen in the teens/ early 20’s and it’s usually for centers.
