Zion - is definitely in shape. But he didn’t give much effort today. He gets a pass bc it was a fan friendly atmosphere.
BI - looks happy and wants to be here. He was heavily involved and participated in all fan friendly drills as well as normal practice. All smiles.
CJ - as usual… he is all in. Such a great leader.
Jose - it’s obvious he has carte blanche. So respected from the team and brings a laid back environment.
Trey Jemison - this dude passes the eye test. Massive human. Looks like Tarzan. Hopefully doesn’t play like Jane.
Herb - just like Jose. Very well respected. Took practice serious though. You can tell he holds players accountable.
Overall. Good job by the Pels. This was a good fan experience. And it was free.

I like Trey Jemison. Dude is big and he seemed to be a guy that set good screens.
I’d much rather he be on the roster and JRE.

I don't think people are talking enough about him.

There's really isn't a lot to talk about. He logged a DNP and two empty the bench games this preseason. Doesn't even look like they're looking to use him or Matkovic this year if they don't have to.
Green said his rotation won't be more than 10 guys. So you have Murray, CJ, Ingram, Zion, Herb, Theis, Jose, Hawkins, and Green as the 9 I'm confident will be in the rotation. Missi will definitely get minutes before Jemison. And that doesn't include Trey when he returns.

Zion - is definitely in shape.
Unless he got in better shape over the last 2 weeks, which is possible with him somehow, he is not definitely in shape. He's the one that already admitted he's not in great shape, and it would take about 20 games to get there.
He's not as flubby and lazy as the start of last year, but he's still not in ideal shape to start the season. either that or he was just incredibly lazy during the preseason, which is a real possibility.
I don't want to see him constantly light jogging back on defense, never getting in a defensive stance, and always walking or slow jogging behind the play on offense while we're trying to push the pace. In shape means you grab rebounds and take off. Zion walks up and down the court more than anyone in the league, and its not even close.
All that being said, i'm looking forward to cashing out my Zion to average 28+ ppg at +850. I doubt i'll cash out my +10,000 MVP ticket, but I like my odds.
I do think he's going to have a breakout year.

It’s this. He’s always been lazy and will always be lazy. Luckily, his lazy is still really good at basketball.
He’s in the best shape that he is going to push himself to be in.
