I’ll always blame the FO and medical staff for handling these guys, especially Z, with the softest of kid gloves.

For some reason this organization thinks guys need to be 100% to step on the court, which isn’t how things work in professional sports.

It didnt work. The structure to avoid pitfalls and motivate players properly does not exist. May have had temporary success but it would not have been sustainable

No he hasn’t.

Don’t you find it odd that this year is his lowest eFG% of his career?
Willie is the problem.
Murray wasn’t brought in to score 20+ a night. He even said he wanted to lead the league in assists. It would have been awesome to see a guy control the offense and set up good opportunities for Zion and BI while having CJ and Trey creating space for them and getting wide open looks.
It’s not a coincidence that Zion and BIs numbers are better with Jose than anyone else on the team.
Murray is more than capable of being a guy who puts up 10+ assists every night while also being an elite defender. It’s what he wanted to do, but was never given the chance.

You must have checked out for a couple of seasons. Z and BI did have a bit of a run that was successful,
