We have three games left, all three against the three teams just below us in the playoff seeding. Two of those teams have veteran rosters with NBA champions. We will learn a lot about who the Pelicans are over these last three games.

I hope I’m wrong, but before the season I predicted a 48-34 finish. Willie had 36 wins his first year, 42 last season, and 48 would mean another six game improvement, hence my prediction. That would mean 1-2 over the last three. That honestly sounds about right. I imagine we’d beat the Kings and lose to the Lakers and Warriors. If this happens, we will not be the sixth seed. I hope I’m wrong. I hope we win out, but this will be a hell of a litmus test. Let’s flap.
