It hurts it a lot, the cheap tickets you are buying are tickets that are already sold to season ticket holders. So if these people actually wanted to attend the games when we are winning, they would have to buy the tickets from the Hornets. Also winning allows the bandwagon fans to attend the games also which New Orleans have a lot of.

Some of these people here just dont get it. They like winning 40-50 games a year and losing in the first round of the playoffs for some reason.
They are thinking we are going to win it all after beating a decent grizzlies team twice without their starting center.

It isn't about not getting it. But when you drive from br to nola 30 times a year for a game you don't want to suck. If you are buying season tickets you don't go hoping to lose. It's.not worth going if thats what you want. Let's geaux hornets!!

I think the only appropriate mindset for a Hornets fan right now is to hope we win every game we play (like a fan), and cheer like hell against Minnesota for draft purposes

I can agree with that. I just don't understand.before the season starts hoping we lose. You never know when you can have a magic season and there's.nothing worse than winning and.people screaming we.should be losing. Nothing is guranteed...have fun now

There's no need for a "real fan" pissing contest. All sides of this want the Hornets to win, the question is how much and over what time period. If you could choose between being a 5-8 seed for the next 3 years and have an aging core, or be out of the playoffs this year, be a 7 seed next year and a 3 seed the year after that and have a young core, which would you honestly choose if you hadn't already committed to tickets for this year?
I guess the good news for both sides is that I don't think Monty and Demps will tank, but I also think Demps is going to do his best to build for the future.

I can understand the future point. But my thing is people will complain if we win this year and say we are a 5 seed.
I would love great picks...but people bust in draft no matter how good it looks...it happens.its no gurantee that they are going to makr is a yearly 1 seed like people cheering for us to lose think. My point enjoy the year if we are winning.but people will as they sit back and think the people who are going to the game don't understand their superb intellect

We still have Jack and Ayon coming and we seem to shot terrible but we still won... Other words are team looked extremely extremely well coached!
