Maybe At the end.

I would put him in the next tier with Lillard, Conley, Lawson, Evans.

fully agreed

and i doubt many have seen jrue. i had the good fortune to sit on him as a long-term keeper in fantasy basketball. i thought last year was going to be his breakout, and the first half of last year was just that

things just got derailed in philly later in the season

November:

18.5 ppg, 9.3 apg, 3.4 rpg, 1.3 spg, 46.2%/79.2%

December:

19.2 ppg, 8.1 apg, 4.9 rpg, 1.2 spg, 44.9%/69.4%

January:

20.9 ppg, 8.9 apg, 4.2 rpg, 1.9 spg, 48.0%/81.8%

February:

17.9 ppg, 7.5 apg, 4.3 rpg, 1.5 spg, 43.5%/67.9%

March:

16.3 ppg, 8.2 apg, 4.8 rpg, 2.1 spg, 39.4%/70.2%

April:

12.7 ppg, 4.2 apg, 3.3 rpg, 1.2 spg, 33.8%/84.2%

Westbrook
Paul
Williams
Curry
Holliday\Conely

Rose hasn't came back yet.
Irving, he be good, but because I said top five he isn't on the list.
Wall, no!
Rondo, refer to rose comment.
Parker, great point guard but aging on us.
Nash, refer to Parker.

fair enough. I think as of now he is better than wall and who knows how rondo and rose will be once they come back. plus the kid is only 23 and may still improve.

you could make an argument for jrue

He was better than wall until wall's torrid pace to get that contract. we don't know which wall shows up next year

rondo can be great, can be mediocre, and is coming off an injury and won't have the protection of a super team next year. we have to wait and see how he responds to a team without protection (may blow up, may wilt)

irving has serious injury worries and sucks arse at defense. i love kyrie in fantasy, but he's not as good as an actual player. if he works on D and stays healthy he's obviously better than jrue, but those are 2 big question marks right now

You're a total basketball idiot if you think Holiday is better than Parker.

Statistically he is better then all of them, and the only one has a little advantage in the PPG section is Lillard

I love Holiday and I know that we are splitting hairs here, but would anyone really have called him a top 5 pg before the trade?

He fits in well with the Pelicans. Gordon needs to be traded though. I don't see both of those guys fitting well together.

he's obviously not a top 5 pg

but luckily, he's only making about $10M per, which is a salary in line of his placement, imho

in 3-4 years there is a pretty good chance he could be close to the top 5 at least

it's an argument of youth that depends on a guess of how paul, deron, and parker wear down with age

I don't think people understand this. In order for a team like the Pelicans to get impact players like Jrue Holiday, is either 1.) get lucky in the draft. 2.) overpay for them 3.) Trade for him while he is in the early stages of a pretty good contract.

This is how small market teams build their roster, they can't rely on getting lucky for 3 straight drafts.

expecially when one of those picks is a way too small for hsi position and has a bum knee

The 6th pick in an obviously weak draft, and a pick outside the top 5 next year.

If we gave up Austin Rivers and another first rounder would you be saying that those 2 first round picks is better value?

Just ask a team like OKC how much of a crapshoot relying on a future first round pick is after this year.

Well that pick could have been anyone still on the board (McLemore, Burke, etc). It didn't have to be Noel.
