hospital in memphis
The game was in Utah last night and the MRI is supposed to happen in Phoenix today. Not sure when but I haven't seen anything yet.

I've seen him dunk about 8 times this year
We drove from BR to Houston for our first road game ever and that was the night DWest slammed the shite out of the ball with a few seconds left in regulation. We won that one in OT.

random poster over at ATH
It was from mW_ who is one half of the duo that write/used to write Hornets Hype. I know him. He doesn't make stuff up, but without an MRI, even a doctor wouldn't know a whole lot. At best, we can take it as a good sign and hope that we get some good news when we hear the MRI results later. I will echo the posters who said that while ligament tears can be relatively "painless" while hyperextensions and dislocations hurt like all hell. Hopefully that's the case.

Thanks. I wasn't trying to imply anything negative about him, more that I was unfamiliar with him.

bullshite. My acl and meniscus tear (acl snapped off the bone) was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, and I've sprained and broken a shite ton of body parts
Maybe you're just a bitch
But yea, I agree with what he said. In this case pain is actually kind of a good thing to hear.

what if they have to amputate?
Posted on 3/25/11 at 3:17 pm to Chad504boy
I hope they call an anesthesiologist.

The league doesn't allow super light weight shoes, I doubt they'd let West play with a bionic leg.

one of the posters on hornets247 said he showed what happened to his knee surgeon brother and he said something like it was a dislocation and it'll take two weeks to heal... who knows though.

All his knee surgeon brother can do from watching it on tv is take a guess. I hope he's right though.

Torn ACL isn't done for the season, that's 2 years to get completely right. Sucks for West, he was about to get his big payday, now he may never get it.
