The Landry trade was huge now. Without it, we have NO chance at making the playoffs. Lets hope Dwest can play again this season, and lets hope the Hornets can hold on to the 7 spot, or better.

bullshite. My acl and meniscus tear (acl snapped off the bone) was the most painful thing I've ever experienced

That might've been the case for you, but normally ACL tears don't hurt that much. I blew mine out along w/ my patella and didn't really think anything was wrong until the x-ray.

Ligament damage may not hurt, but a meniscus tear hurts like a sonofabitch.

I got a horseshoe tear in mine that left me unable to stand up due to an obstructed joint and ended up swelling my leg considerably with fluid in a short period of time.

Bc that injury appeared that bad. Hope not. But he has this injury late in a free agent year. Lot of uncertainty at this point with the future of Dwest especially in a hornets Uni.

I bet you don't laugh at funerals at all either huh? But in seriousness, Dwest is my favorite hornet, i have no bad intentions with my statement.

DX is my favorite Hornet etc but let's not forget the hornets
Have been wanting to sign him to a guaranteed big money extension for at least a year.

This was his decision and risk and it's almost certainly backfired at least to some extent. I can't see how ANY player in the final year of a contract would fail to lock down a long term deal before the CBA expires.

Dx could now lose money from either the CBA or his injury - and possibly from both now.

excellent news

although I was quietly laughing to myself as it looked as if DWest blew out his knee on his first career dunk

I think it's from some comment by a random poster over at ATH. Rephrase it as "no obvious ligament damage but we need to see the MRI to confirm" and the statement fits the information we actually have.
